Sunset
... a picture of the view from my back door. The sun was setting last night, as I was sitting out having a smoke, and I decided I should get my camera and share some of what drew me here. Because contrary to what most people think, I'm not here for the money. Well, not strictly for the money.
I talked to Sonja last night for a bit. It was really good to talk to her, to hear her voice again. I really look forward to seeing her, if things don't work out right away for her visa.

ha. well thanks ;) it was nice talking to you, as always. So when I get to Alberta can we go walkin' in those woods or are they considered too dangerous?
Define "too dangerous". I go walking, not too far, and so far I've been alright.
as in they got warning signs saying "at your own peril" :P
No. But there are lots of bears and some wolves, a few cougars, they tell us there are wolverine in the area.... But I think the only thing you really have to worry about is getting lost in the muskeg and freezing to death.
muskeg...?
Thick, wet moss beds. There area is mostly muskeg.
