Crap.

The last few days have been... uncomortable, for lack of a better word. It's mostly work stuff, that I don't want to go into, but I'll sum it up by saying, it's the "out-of-placeness" that I felt at the warehouse, only instead of being able to rely on the knowledge of my hard work, my assistant now does everything. Everything. I feel useless.

I watched Saw II for the second time in two weekends (that's alot of 2's). I was still wincing.

you have an assistant? that's lush! You need to look at this another way. Being obsolete or "not as useful" is advantageous. now you have more time for thinking and taking care of yourself and responsibilities. perhaps you should consider a career change to professional hobbyist. I would. giddyup.

don't define yourself by your career, leave that to those poor suckers ;)

It's not that. And you're right. It's just I went from being the only one that knows what's going on to being the new guy who knows nothing.

But I did get to read Applegeeks from beginning to end.

I would say that's a successful day. Better than doing boring stuff that your assistant can take care of :D

So long as I don't get caught and get fired.

I just need to be able to give her work direction and answer to my bosses about our department, and right now I can't because I still have alot to learn. And I learn by doing.
